Blog 2: why did I choose this career?

Hi, welcome to my second blog!

Today I am going to talk about my dream jobs when I was a child and when I applied for the university. :D

When I was little I wanted to be a cashier because I liked to pass the things in the barcode and I had a game where I could play to be a cashier. It was really fun.

When I started to grow up and be in high school, so many people asked me ¿What do you want to study in the university when you do the PSU? and I answered ‘I really don’t know’ but I had two options: one was to be a doctor and the second one was to be an architect, and you now must think ‘but those careers are so opposite to each other’ and yeah I know. I chose medicine as an option because I like science, the cells, the body, the reactions inside of us, everything; but also I like drawing, the structure of a house, the space, the city and all about this career.

As I had these two options, I decided at that moment the score of my test would determine my future, and here I am in architecture at the University of Chile.

In this university the experience has been so exciting to meet different persons and to learn about this beautiful career and realize the decision I made was totally worth it.

I hope to be an independent architect and have my own office of architecture, that would be amazing.

Thank you for reading me!
